The Big Data Value Association (BDVA)
The Big Data Value Association (BDVA) is an industry-driven international not-for-profit organisation with 200 members all over Europe and a well-balanced composition of large, small, and medium-sized industries, as well as research and user organizations. BDVA is the private counterpart to the EU Commission to implement the Big Data Value PPP program. BDVA and the Big Data Value PPP pursue a common shared vision of positioning Europe as the world leader in the creation of Big Data Value.
The Big Data Value Public-Private Partnership program aims at creating a functional Data Market and Data Economy in Europe, in order to allow Europe to play a leading role in Big Data in the global market. The BDV PPP is developing an interoperable data-driven ecosystem as a source for new businesses and innovations using Big Data.
The project that provides coordination and support for the current and future H2020 projects within the BDV PPP is BDV ECOSYSTEM (BDVe), fostering a truly vibrant community around Big Data and facilitating the common bodies to discover and exploit synergies.
